Navigates the IT architecture and pertinent apps to assist end users. identifies and fixes problems with computers, servers, local networks, phones, and other IT platforms. works in tandem with many outside service providers. records occurrences in the system for managing service operations.
Workplace Duties:
- Works in tandem with various outside service providers to diagnose and fix problems and service requests pertaining to the local end user and IT environment.
- Serves as the point of contact between end users and the Service Desk.
- Supports the setup and user acceptability testing needed for upgrades and infrastructure initiatives.
- fulfills the requirements of programs for continuous improvement while maintaining 5S standards at all locations.
- Assists end users in getting ready for audits and SOX compliance
- Maintains internal and external lines of communication with clients to record solutions, suggest actions, and carry out project specifications and improvements.
- Carries out specified IT operations and service delivery choices
- Carries out additional tasks as given
Requirements:
- Strong familiarity with Windows OS, Microsoft Office, servers, networks, and maintaining PCs and printers
- The capacity to identify and evaluate technological issues
- Fundamental abilities in project management
- Demonstrates knowledge of IT standards, guidelines, and practices
- Capacity to interact and clarify technical requirements and issues in order to provide solutions
- Proficient in both the main language spoken in the area of responsibility and/or the target language
Instruction:
An associate’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related subject, or comparable training and experience
