Job Description:
To handle and maintain our weekly email list, we are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Email Marketing Expert. To make sure our email campaigns reach the proper target, the ideal applicant will have a solid experience in email marketing and Python in addition to a sharp eye for detail.
Accountabilities:
Eliminate duplicate email addresses from the list.
‘Gnail.com’ should be changed to ‘gmail.com’ to correct frequent spelling problems in email addresses.
Transfer sanitized email lists to a nearby MongoDB database.
Add and fill out variables like “domain,” “sourced_from,” and “category” (personal, corporate, corporate public, personal, unknown).
Verification and upkeep: To lower bounce rates and steer clear of spam traps, regularly verify emails.
Send an email to confirm its legitimacy.
For thorough email verification, make use of programs like Mailchecker, Mailtools, Mailcat, Reacher, and Truemail.
Add the date of the most recent check and the verification results to MongoDB.
Campaign Management: Use enhanced fields to segment the email list.
Create customised email campaigns for various audiences (e.g., business vs. personal).
For campaign distribution, use SMTP or email sending services.
Keep an eye on campaign success metrics like open and click-through rates, and use the data to inform future campaign optimization.
Requirements:
- Proficiency with Python is required for automation and scripting.
- Prior list management and email marketing expertise.
- Knowledge of MongoDB or comparable databases.
- Familiarity with email verification methods and technologies.
- Strong ability to analyze and solve problems.
