Year Up is an intense job training program that lasts no more than a year and offers young individuals individualized coaching and mentoring, access to internships and/or job placement services, and skill development in the classroom. Participants in Year Up are also given an educational stipend.
Through our industry-leading talent placement company, YUPRO Placement, the program offers access to internships and job placement help along with technical and professional training for recruiting, job search, talent acquisition, and job matching. If you are awarded an internship, it may be at one of the many prestigious Baltimore-area companies for such as Salesforce Entry-level Information Technology (IT) Role Okta, Merck, or Fannie Mae.
Do you qualify?Applying to Year Up is possible if you are:- 18 to 29 years old – A GED or high school graduation- Willing to work Monday through Friday for the length of the program; – Eligible to work in the United States; – Extremely driven to acquire technical and professional capabilitiesI do not own a bachelor’s degree.
What benefits will you receive?Expertise in business and communication, networking and interview techniques, CV development, and continuous assistance and direction to assist with career launching. College credit may be obtained for certain classes. Year Up students get a $525 monthly educational stipend during the internship period.

Obtain the knowledge and chances you need to begin your professional career. Within four months after graduating, 80% of Year Up alumni find employment or are enrolled in higher study.
