Summary:
In your role as a Simphony POS Implementation Specialist, you will be instrumental in the deployment and upkeep of store systems, guaranteeing the seamless transfer and operation of IT operations throughout restaurant locations. You will be in charge of assessing and testing new technology, making the most of current systems, overseeing vendor/partner relationships for Simphony point-of-sale (POS) systems, and offering thorough documentation and training. The perfect applicant is adaptable, quick, and skilled at managing many jobs and projects at once. To the Store Systems Manager, this position reports.
The role is contractual in nature, with a one-year guarantee and potential for extension.
Important Duties:
- Help with the upkeep and supervision of every facet of the regular Simphony POS functioning concerning IT Operations.
- Test and assess system patches and upgrades to improve or rectify customer experience and operational efficiency.
- Optimally use current technological resources to enhance system efficiency.
- Oversee connections with assistance providers, guaranteeing efficient correspondence and cooperation.
- Offer assistance to users by diagnosing and fixing technical difficulties pertaining to Simphony POS and its associated reports.
- Contributes to the process of documenting the current infrastructure and helps determine the hardware and network requirements for conversion.
Record setups, troubleshooting processes, and technical procedures. - Work together with cross-functional teams to carry out IT initiatives and projects.
- Help out with helpdesk duties and provide technical assistance when required.
- Carries out any additional tasks that the supervisor assigns.
- Verify adherence to IT security guidelines and protocols.
Essential Training & Work Experience:
- Expert level familiarity with labor management, interfaces, reporting & analytics, and Simphony POS (Multi-Revenue Center).
- Familiarity with R&A version updates and Simphony.
- Five years of experience in both face-to-face support and system implementation.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- knowledge of JSON and SQL for data integration and analysis.
- TCP/IP and VLANs are fundamental concepts in networking that are needed to address network-related difficulties.
- familiarity working in a helpdesk environment and assisting non-technical end users.
- The capacity to manage many projects and activities at once, adhere to deadlines, and choose priorities wisely.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, as well as the capacity to cooperate in a group setting.
- Availability for on-demand air travel (80%) across the US and Canada
