Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced IT Specialist to join our team in the OMH NYC Field Office. As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems, networks, and video conferencing equipment. Your duties will include:
- Monitoring and maintaining our local technical environment
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with computers, networks, and printers
- Providing end-user support and training
- Managing and prioritizing support calls
- Ensuring compliance with confidentiality regulations (e.g. HIPAA/HITECH Law)
- Collaborating with our team to resolve technical issues
- Providing technical assistance and support to all users
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in IT support
- Advanced education (optional)
- Technical experience in:
- End-user desktop troubleshooting and support (6.5 years)
- Office-wide PC, laptop, network, and printer/peripheral troubleshooting and support (6.5 years)
- Ticket management software and related procedures (6 years)
- Microsoft Suite of products and Desktop O/S (6 years)
- Supporting and troubleshooting video-teleconference equipment (6 years)
- Internet-based teleconference software support (2 years)
- Experience working in a customer service-related support position (4 years)
- Ability to work independently and provide guidance to others
