Job Description:

We are looking to add an experienced IT consultant to our group. As an IT Specialist, you will learn about the business objectives of our clients and provide strategic recommendations on how to use technology to meet those objectives. You will instruct customers on technical matters and guide them toward the optimal integration of their technological systems. Along with having great communication and customer service skills, the ideal applicant also has strong technical abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Will be mostly focused on and devoted to large suppliers like Dell, Cisco, VMware, etc.
  • Will be in charge of choosing the best opportunity and providing quotes for alternatives or replacements.
  • Will need communication with customers to address any questions or issues pertaining to processes or sales that come up on a daily basis.
  • Will be in charge of reaching yearly revenue targets allotted and boosting profitability on certain transactions.
  • Will be in charge of upholding connections and permissions, supporting deal registrations, upgrading certificates, etc.
  • All refunds and backends produced by sales must be monitored.
  • Will be in charge of handling any cases or problems brought about by contracts.
  • The primary duty will be to ensure that the company maintains the necessary partner level and to oversee technical certifications and training. monitoring all vendor partner tiers and completing tasks on schedule or earlier.

Requirements:

  • 100% proficient in IT; has expertise with desktop computers, servers, networking, storage, Dell and Cisco expertise, and is certified or has specialized in either company.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and comprehension of US accents are essential.
  • Willing and intending to work and remain with Aurora for a minimum of five years
  • Computer science bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with an MBA or MSc desirable
  • It is recommended to have professional certifications or specializations in Dell and Cisco.
  • Three years or more of experience in a core IT field; excellent troubleshooting and analytical abilities
  • Capacity to function well in a group setting Excellent writing and verbal communication abilities
  • Pleasantly working night shifts in the US Pacific or Eastern time zones
  • US Eastern (6:00 p.m. to 3:30 a.m.)
  • US Pacific: 8:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
