Your mission
Work with teams to:
- Find software solutions
- Estimate tasks like design, development, and testing
- Participate in all software development phases
- Build application back-ends in Java
- Develop and manage databases and apps
- Write effective APIs
- Test for responsiveness and efficiency
- Troubleshoot and debug
- Write technical docs
- Improve software with other teams
- Use the best language and framework for the task
- Meet deadlines and take ownership
- Stay updated with industry trends and new tech
Your profile
We’re looking for a backend developer with:
- A degree in Computer Science (BS or MS)
- 1-2 years of experience
- Strong SQL skills
- Proficiency in Java programming (core technology)
- Experience with:
- Web apps (JSP/Servlets)
- REST Services
- Insurance/Financial apps
- Front-end languages (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
- Relational databases (SQL Server)
- Web servers (Tomcat, Glassfish)
- Good communication and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
