In this demanding field, which moves quickly, no two days are the same. You will experience a distinctive fusion of the AV and IT domains in addition to taking in a wide range of sporting events, concerts, and other events.
Important Tasks:
- Help with the maintenance and inventory of all network equipment, including as servers, laptops, peripherals, PCs, and switches.
- Offer Help Desk Support for Microsoft Office versions, Outlook 365, Windows versions, and a range of other applications.
- Support the management of Windows Server 2012, 2016, and 2019.
- Work with DMPs, more than 300 TVs, Cisco StadiumVision software, and hardware linked to IT and audiovisual.
- Utilize PBA Wireless Networks. Over 200 AP Hardware/Software.
- Utilize the Click-Effects, Scoreboard, Ribbon Board, Daktronix Software, and Hardware.
- When necessary, collaborate with AV Managers and Musco Sports Lighting and Sound Software/Hardware.
- Maintain and upgrade your Allo VoIP phone system.
- When necessary, put in long or erratic hours, including on the weekends, holidays, and nights.
- Continue to have a “do whatever it takes” mindset.
Requirements:
- A clear understanding of the proper procedures and information needed to operate and maintain desktop and laptop computers.
- Showable proficiency with Microsoft Office products, Microsoft Windows software, Cisco basic routing and networking, basic server maintenance, and cabling.
- Programming Cisco Managed Switches is advantageous.
- A clear understanding of and proficiency with all methods, instruments, machinery, supplies, and tools utilized in technical building and upkeep.
- Have familiarity with industry jargon, event-specific services, facility specifications, and technical needs specific to the kinds of events that the venue expects to host.
- Have knowledge of the mechanical, electrical, and other systems in the building.
- Keep up productive working relationships with all people you come into contact with while working, including clients, coworkers, exhibitors, customers, and others.
- Read and understand related materials such as drawings and plans.
- Observe written and spoken instructions and use both written and spoken communication to interact with others in an efficient manner.
- Fulfill the job’s physical requirements, which include carrying, lifting, and climbing.
- Possess a driver’s license and auto insurance to drive a car in the US.
- Keep an open mind and adapt to events as they arise.
