Program Acceptance:

Our goal is to help people who are most in need of us. Check to see whether you are eligible for our No-Cost Tech/IT Fundamentals Program.

The following criteria must be met in order to be eligible if you are neither a spouse or a military veteran:

  • Ages 18 to 26
  • A high school degree or its equivalent
  • Able to work in the US legally

If you are a spouse or veteran of the armed forces, you must meet the following qualifying requirements:

  • More than 21 years old
  • One of the following must apply: honorably discharged, transferring from active duty to the Reserves or the Guard, or a member of the Guard
  • Able to work in the US legally

What The Tech Foundations Course Has to Offer:

  • Virtual instruction with an instructor for up to 20 weeks
  • Possibility of a project-based learning experience or a paid internship
  • Possibility of obtaining certificates acknowledged by the industry: A Google IT Support Certificate, an IT Generalist Apprenticeship certificate, and CompTIA A+
  • Exposure to cutting-edge technology such as Cisco, Microsoft, AWS, and others
  • Guidance from seasoned IT specialists
  • Workshops on job preparedness
  • Support for finding a job and access to many prestigious employers
  • Financial support as well as resources to aid with childcare, housing, and other needs!

We are a nationwide nonprofit organization that helps young persons from underprivileged areas and veterans of the armed forces start digital careers by providing free training programs, internships, social assistance, job placements, and other services. Our goal is to open doors to economic success.

Included in the NPower signature training paradigm are:

Tech Fundamentals is a 23-week program that consists of a seven-week paid internship after 16 weeks of online teaching and professional skill development. The curriculum emphasizes the fundamental technological skills required for entry-level IT jobs.

sophisticated Certifications: To prepare NPower graduates for more sophisticated IT careers, they provide many pathways for advanced IT education, such as cybersecurity and cloud computing.

NPower is dedicated to seeing its students succeed. Throughout the students’ time in the program, NPower offers a variety of social service support (housing recommendations, clothes donations, travel aid, etc.). Additionally, they are dedicated to helping graduates advance their careers over the long term and stay in jobs. Their network of actively involved alumni still comes to NPower for access to higher certifications, continuing career coaching, and mentorship.
