About the Job Social Media Fellow
Health Tech for Medicaid (HT4M) aims to improve healthcare for Medicaid recipients through innovation.
We connect people and organizations in health tech to drive change.
Our goals: better care, fair access, and stronger communities.
We’re seeking a Social Media Fellow for Fall 2024 (unpaid for the first 150 hours).
As a fellow, you’ll:
Learn about health and tech equity
Help create a positive company culture
Assist in growing our organization and making important decisions
Responsibilities include:
Create and schedule posts for Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
Find new ways to grow HT4M’s social media presence and engagement
Write and send newsletters using MailChimp
Develop strategies for campaigns and programs
Stay up-to-date on news related to Medicaid
Qualifications:
Currently a student or recent grad looking for social media experience
Self-starter who works well independently
Excellent writing and communication skills
Organized and able to manage time effectively
Previous social media experience a plus (especially with Hootsuite, MailChimp, or Canva)
Interest in public health and Medicaid a plus
