Position Description:

HM is seeking the following:

• At least ten years of experience in the Salesforce environment.
• At least three to four years of experience leading a tech team – so far, none of the applicants, including those we interviewed, have shown this.
• Experience in the financial industry is desired.
• Three Salesforce certifications, minimum.

Working together with product owners, tech leaders, designers, engineers, and delivery specialists, you will enhance our next-generation customer support solutions as a Lead Platform Engineer. In order to create capabilities to solve complex business challenges and launch cutting-edge goods, services, and experiences to satisfy our customers, you will code, test, and debug both new and current apps! You will bring exceptional problem-solving, communication, and collaboration abilities, as well as agile working methods, strong business acumen, an inclusive leadership style, and a continuous learning emphasis to all you do. This is in addition to your advanced technical competence and experience.

What to Expect on a Normal Day Is As Follows:

• Configure and develop apps using contemporary design patterns and architectural concepts, making sure the solution complies with industry standards and the most recent practices for Salesforce.
• Create excellent, well documented, and effective code that complies with all relevant Prudential standards and remains in line with the platform vendor’s plans and guidance.
• Using contemporary integration, data, and security principles, create the business logic and integration patterns using Prudential Ecosystem.
• Compose unit, integration, and functional automation tests; investigate issues found by product support or quality assurance; and provide solutions to the issues.
• Bring a deep awareness of pertinent and developing technologies, offer advice and mentorship to team members, and integrate learning and creativity into daily work on challenging issues where situational or data analysis calls for the assessment of intangible factors

The abilities and knowledge you possess:

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science, or equivalent experience
  Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and agile development approaches
• Understanding of business principles, instruments, and procedures necessary for making wise judgments within the framework of the organization’s operations
• Capacity to continuously acquire new abilities and information by taking initiative and overcoming obstacles
• Outstanding ability to solve problems, communicate, and work with others
• advanced knowledge and/or proficiency in a number of the following:
• Integrations with Apex, Lightning Component Development, Java Script, REST/JSON, and XML
• Process automation with Batch/Async Apex and Flow
• Configuration and management of key capabilities, data model, integrations, security, and access control expertise for the Sales/Service cloud
• Functional understanding of the Financial Services Cloud/Service Cloud or Sales Cloud. Large data volumes, platform events, advanced flows, and performance optimization. knowledge of SSL, web service proxies, firewalls, SAML 2.0, OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0, unit, interface, and end user testing ideas and tools (functional & non-functional); familiarity with security principles (authentication, authorization, encryption, digital signature)
• Configuring and managing the data model, integrations, security, and access control for key capabilities

Ideal qualifications:

• Understanding Vlocity and Omnistudio is a major benefit.
• Ability to collaborate with agile teams and business partners
• Familiarity with Bitbucket, DevOps automation techniques, and technologies
• Test-driven development (TDD) experience
• Testing instruments like Selenium, Postman, and SOAPUI
• Experience in the financial/insurance sector is advantageous.
