Description of the Role:

Sikaram Tech is hiring a Business Development Officer on a full-time basis. You will be in charge of finding new business prospects, carrying out market research, evaluating data, and creating growth-oriented plans in your role as a business development officer. You will also be in charge of providing exceptional customer service and preserving ties with current customers. This is a hybrid job that allows for some remote work but also requires most work to be done in our Islamabad office.


Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Development and Opportunity Identification: Create and implement plans to increase income, look for new business ventures, and oversee the management of business cases.
  • Relationship Management: Establish and preserve connections with important parties and operate as the main point of contact for customers, attending to their requirements and suggestions.
  • Market Analysis and Research: To keep abreast of market developments, find new customers and business prospects, and provide reports on a regular basis, conduct market analysis.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: To promote overall business success, work together with the teams responsible for product development, sales, and marketing.
  • Lead Generation and Deal Closure: Create leads via a variety of sources, draft proposals, bargain for agreements, and reach financial goals.
  • Engagement with Clients: Conduct client meetings and presentations, oversee sales funnels, and interact with clients in an efficient manner.

Qualifications:

  • Education Background: Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, business administration, or a similar discipline.
  • Proficient in interpersonal, negotiating, and communication skills.
  • Technical and Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, meticulousness, and competence in technical and proposal writing.
  • Workplace Flexibility: The capacity to operate both individually and collaboratively, adjust to shifting priorities, and efficiently manage time in a hectic setting.
  • Experience with Freelance Platforms: Knowledge of sales flow and procedures, ability to spot possible business prospects, and experience placing bids on freelance websites such as Upwork and Fiverr.
  • Collaboration and Tool Proficiency: Strong management, planning, and collaboration abilities along with proficiency using G Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong grasp of market trends and the software sector characterizes the industry expert.
