Leidos is a technology company that provides innovative solutions to various industries. We have a career opportunity for an IT Systems Lead at Hurlburt Field, FL, and we’re looking for a talented individual to join our team!
Job Summary:
As an IT Systems Lead, you will lead a team of systems and network technicians and oversee the management of our IT architecture. You will report directly to the IT Systems Manager and be responsible for the overall systems administration accountability and operations onsite. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Participating in technical design planning for system hardware and software
- Assisting in the development of test procedures and completing verification and validation events
- Participating in configuration change steps to evaluate cost, risk, and supportability
- Building and deploying virtual and non-virtual servers and computers
- Managing multiple classified enclaves within the facility
- Troubleshooting advanced problems as changes, upgrades, and patches are deployed
Requirements:
- Prior relevant experience or a Master’s degree with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience
- Detailed understanding of Department of Defense standards for patching and working within the SOCOM IT environment
- Experience with SCCM and troubleshooting group policy changes from an enterprise
- Experience deploying Server 2016 (and above) and Windows 10
- Experience managing virtual environments, Citrix or VMWare virtual environments is highly desirable
- Current TS/SCI security clearance
- Meet DoD 8570 certification requirements
- Excellent communication skills in team environments and superior customer service skills
- Experience managing a team in the IT field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior military experience working in data centers
- Current experience managing Citrix or VMWare systems virtual environments
- Experience working IT environments within a weapons system
