A Microsoft 365 Solutions Architect is needed to assist with the design and deployment of M365, Power Platform, and Azure, per a request from our customer TxDOT.
This job is hybrid, requiring two days a week on-site. Only applicants in the Austin area are being considered for this role.
Responsibilities:
The duties and qualifications of the employee must include:
- Develops a knowledgeable approach for Power Platforms, Azure, and Microsoft M365. analyzes company processes, applications, and security; reviews business goals; and assesses present systems to determine needs for M365 and Power Platforms.
- Identifies and produces designs for new projects, executes current designs and architectures, and gathers requirements for M365.
- In charge of overseeing the low-code Power Platforms strategy, coordinating and communicating the CoE governance team’s efforts, and making sure the Microsoft Power Platform strategy is in line with the objectives of the company.
- Administers and maintains the Microsoft Power Platform and M365 in accordance with the defined environmental plan, establishing rules, controlling users, allocating resources, and licensing. maintains the TxDOT Governance Hub for Power Platform and updates the CoE releases on a regular basis.
- Carries out the necessary updates to M365 and Power Platform to enable new designs and guarantees that they are safe from unauthorized access or modification, consistent, normalized, and perform as needed.
- Evaluates modifications, understanding how they affect the architecture of the Power Platform and M365, and makes sure the relevant parties are informed of the effects.
- Creates metrics to track improvements in performance and completeness and quality for use in the enterprise.
- Work together and communicate in a timely, professional way.
