Concerning the Opportunity:
With help from the Chief Technology Officer, the Tech Analyst will have a once-in-a-lifetime chance to play a major role in the start-up operational team. The Battery facility is a brand-new, greenfield electric battery facility situated in BlueOval SK Battery Park in Glendale, Kentucky.
BlueOval SK is looking for someone who can lead this important financial investment in the electric vehicle revolution and collaborate with our parent companies and clients. This work will be pleasant and gratifying for someone who is eager to take on the challenge of creating something new and who will proactively create, discuss, and execute the best solutions.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Oversee headcount planning and organizational roles and duties within the CTO organization.
- Establish and assess Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) within the CTO Organization.
- Create a budget for CAPEX and OPEX and performance management.
- Creation and Use of the CTO Management Process
- Set and oversee significant benchmarks associated with the Master Plan.
- Take part in and provide assistance to the hiring of engineers and creation of training programs in association with the Learning and Development division.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in finance or a bachelor of science in engineering (manufacturing, industry, or management)
- Bilingual in both Korean and English
- Adept with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Competent at setting priorities, arranging tasks, and planning
- Capacity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and operate both individually and in teams
- Ability to establish trusting working connections with colleagues Good mathematical understanding and analytical abilities
- Shown capacity to pick things up fast and adapt well to change
- Preferred background in a manufacturing company’s technology planning division Preferred experience in the opening of new production facilities
Extra Details:
Along with relocation to the Glendale/Elizabethtown, KY region (work location is onsite and in person at the factory in Glendale, KY), occasional travel between Tennessee and Kentucky is anticipated.
OPT (Optional Practical Training) holders for F-1 students may be qualified for this employment.
