This is a chance to pay as you go. Candidates must be accessible from 9 AM to 5 PM, seven days a week, for at least 10 to 15 hours. There will be a ton of opportunities to pick up a variety of skills in this startup atmosphere! The applicant will learn the fundamentals of digital marketing and web design in addition to having prior IT expertise! An understanding of Windows, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Apple MacOS, and network equipment such as smart switches, routers, firewalls, etc. is a must for the perfect applicant. Candidates will be in charge of offering customers technical assistance. This will mostly include providing onsite assistance to different customers in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach, Florida; but, on occasion, remote support may also be provided (as required).   • The capacity to plan, organize, schedule, and oversee a range of tasks and initiatives
  • Dependable internet connectivity.
  • Possess the ability to lift and move fifty pounds.
  • Possess an up-to-date, valid driver’s license
  • Obtain dependable transportation
  • Be ready and prepared to go to several South Florida customer locations.

Responsibilities:

  • The capacity to pick up new software and systems fast.
  • Recognizing, isolating, resolving, and monitoring help desk tickets that have been filed on time
  • Delivering thorough records of the task completed
  • Setting up, adjusting, and debugging peripherals and hardware for desktop computers
  • Installing, setting up, and debugging desktop software for Windows 7 through Windows 10
  • Reinstalling the operating system on laptops and desktop computers when necessary
  • Supplying, setting up, and physically installing hardware (such as PCs, switches, firewalls, and printers)
  • Setting up, adjusting, and fixing network and desktop printers
  • Helping with patches or upgrades pertaining to security (for PCs, network devices, printers etc.)
  • Developing and maintaining documentation for client networks

Requirements:

  • Technical certifications (such as A+ and Network+) and/or a two- or four-year degree in an area relevant to computer science, engineering, or information technology.
  • Operating Systems for Windows Desktop (Windows 7 through Windows 11)
  • Desktop operating systems from Apple (MacOS)
  • Operating Systems for Windows Server (Windows Server 2008 to Windows Server 2022).
  • Common Desktop Programs (Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office, etc.)
  • Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Exchange Server, and other server applications
  • Several web browsers (e.g., Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Internet Explorer & Edge)
  • Software for preventing viruses and malware (such as Malwarebytes, McAfee, and Norton Antivirus)
  • Technologies for Unified Communications (On-premise and Hosted VoIP)
  • Platforms for hosted collaboration like Google Workspace and Microsoft Office 365
  • Hardware for computers (desktop and laptop)
  • Technologies related to networks (firewalls, routers, switches, wireless access points, etc.)
